nature exploration

“Look deep, deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” – Albert Einstein

For many of us, nature already offers a space to relax, clear the mind and reconnect. Nature can also be a powerful teacher and mirror for us, when we pay attention and listen. Going out with an intention or with a question, and sharing what you experience and having it reflected back to you by another person, is a different way of being in nature. It can be eye-opening, and a very valuable experience.

I offer guided day-walks, mini-courses on how to use nature more consciously for receiving guidance. A day-walk is an opportunity to open our own senses – inside and out – and to allow the natural world to serve as guide and mirror. It is a way to work deeply with an issue you are facing in your life, and also a way to connect more consciously with nature and with your capacity to listen and receive guidance. You can explore personal or relational issues in your life, as well as professional.

The magic of connecting with nature in this way is that it offers a precise mirror for you, showing you what you need to see and do at this point in your life. Once you have this experience, it is something you can use when you choose to.

I offer walks in person to individuals or small groups in Oslo. For clients who live elsewhere I facilitate individual walks over the phone or skype. If you wish to deepen your connection to nature and your practice of how to use it for guidance in your own process, I also offer individually designed nature-based coaching and mentoring.

My approach for working with nature in this way is rooted in the tradition of School of Lost Borders. I have done The Great Ballcourt Initiation Fast, and several trainings with rites of passage guide and co-founder of the school, Meredith Little. I combine this training with my background and experience as a coach, to help you deepen your connection with nature to receive guidance for your own life.
